Our exhibition of Hacking AIR3 design competition finalists is coming to a design college near you.
In September 2015 we launched the inaugural W2W design competition Hacking AIR3 in collaboration with Orangebox. The competition was aimed at design students, giving them the opportunity to work on a real-world client brief, with the opportunity to gain some recognition in the design industry.
The brief was to hack the Orangebox Air3 pod into a piece of functional and practical furniture which is also relevant in today’s working environment, all while still in keeping with the core value of the pod, flexibility and portability. Over 60 entries were received, from colleges around the country, which was reduced down to a shortlist of 12. These 12 projects showed a need and understanding of what is required in the modern working environment.
We are now touring with the Hacking Air 3 competition to exhibit the 12 shortlisted candidates. Pop over to our Facebook, Twitter or Instagram pages for more information on where we will be exhibiting next!
