W2W hosted the latest in it's series of educational events for the architecture and design communities in The Dean. The topic on this occassion was Biophilic Design and it proved to be very popular with a full house in attendance on the night.
The expert speaker was Landscape Architect Joseph Clancy, of UK practice Bradley Murphy Design, who based his presentation around the Terrapin Bright Green whitepaper entitled 14 Patterns of Biophilic Design which he co-authored.
"We're delighted to host these kind of informative events for the A&D community", said David Barry, Marketing Manager of W2W. "We work closely with Architects and Designers on their projects and we know how busy they are and how difficult it can be for them to access genuinely educational events with no sales pitch. We see it as simply an extension of the help and support we provide on projects. And of course it's great to meet people away from the office and catch-up over a drink!"
The response from the audience was overwhelmingly positive, with both the quality of the presentation and the event itself being widely praised. W2W and co-hosts KI Europe were delighted with the feedback and are currently planning the next event. If you have any suggestions of a topic relevant to Architecture and Design that you would like to see covered in W2W's series of talks, then be sure and suggest it to us!
