ORANGEBOX ENVIRONMENTAL AGENDA GAINS FURTHER WORLDWIDE RECOGNITION
Ara achieved the accolade of becoming the first office task chair to be designed, developed and manufactured in Europe to achieve Cradle to Cradle accreditation.
At Orangebox we have an ambition to become as environmentally smart a manufacturer as we can and it’s heartening that we are increasingly recognised for this within our international markets, as illustrated by the current issue of Australia’s InDesign magazine.
We adopted Cradle 2 Cradle for precisely the reason cited in the article; "More than ever before, there is a critical need for product-related environmental marketing claims to be independently verified and certified. The days of manufacturers making self-declared, unsubstantiated claims without any external scrutiny are rapidly diminishing"
And as remarked by Orangebox Export Sales Director Phil Robbins; “it’s gratifying that when products are evaluated and scrutinised so carefully as this, Orangebox are considered up there with the US big four”.
