One Microsoft Place
Main Contractor: BAM Ireland
Architect: RKD Architects
Partitions, double glazed screens, bespoke steel glazed screens and atrium glazing
The multi-award winning One Microsoft Place is a 35,000m² campus designed by RKD Architects, constructed by BAM Ireland and now home to 2,000 of the company's workforce. The building's "Harbour" ground floor entrance leads to a large full height atrium area where W2W installed over 900m² of 1.5kN bespoke atrium glazing and the impressive digital waterfall. In addition to the atrium glazing, W2W supplied and fitted over 850 linear meters of Optima Revolution 100 double glazed screens, 46 linear meters of Optima 117+ single glazed screens and 330Nr Optima Edge Affinity acoustic performance doors.
We worked closely with RKD to create bespoke steel glazed screens and sliding doors to Animitorium, full height folding glazed walls and installed over 3060m² of sound absorbing reSorb panels to the building.
It was great to be part of the “physical manifestation of the global tech giant's cultural transformation to become “One Microsoft”.
