Supply and installation of glazed partitions, folding walls, system furniture, loose furniture and supply of carpets

This project required some real innovation to achieve a truly unique result for an ambitious design, consisting of irregularly shaped glazed panels, which, despite being a continuous run, fall in opposite directions. A floor-to-ceiling section of glass which leans back, gives the impression of toppling forward at the corner.

The design requirement was to create raked glass walls to reflect the dynamic nature of the client’s organisation, but the result is a stunning piece of 3-dimensional glazing, more like a sculpture than a functional wall.

Close collaboration between W2W and both the design team, to establish the requirements, and the manufacturer Optima Systems, to assess tolerances, allowed W2W to construct a visually stunning and structurally sound result.

Creating three dimensional glazed partitions was a first for everyone on the project, but it is used to dramatic and simple effect.

W2W also supplied Bralco bench desking and Orangebox task seats and loose furniture, along with Shaw Hexagonal carpet tiles.

Alan McQuaid, Facilities Manager, Kleinwort Benson Investors Dublin Ltd.

In 2001 KBC Asset Management employed W2W to fit out our premises on Dawson Street. The project was a roaring success and has stood the test of time. In 2015 as Kleinwort Benson Investors Dublin Ltd. we moved offices and were delighted to engage them again. Not only did they apply the same excellent standards but it is evident that they have moved with the times. Not only did W2W weather the storm of the last few years but have grown whilst keeping their finger firmly on the pulse of modern day office fit out.
